I decided to start off my first blog post in this series on the NSA, partly because they have been headline news recently since the Edward Snowden revelations. Now, the NSA is not an agency about which I’ve ever herd very much about regarding the Kennedy assassination, apart from a few interesting facts here and there. I certainly didn’t realise until a few weeks ago when looking up something in the NARA database that there are, as I mentioned in my previous post, 127 documents in there pertaining to the NSA. Some of them sound particularly intriguing from the RIF’s. Going through these files, many of them are still witheld from public view – there are too many to post the details of in this blog but I will post a few just to give a flavour of the kind of subjects and/or people these documents relate to.
