I have thought, and thought, and thought……and thought on just how to write the second part of this story. I wrote several pages, several times, and deleted as many. You see, I was writing to include and examine every minor detail related to Tippit’s murder. In the process of all that thinking, it occurred to me, every little detail wasn’t necessary to identify a prime suspect in Tippit’s murder. So often, in any crime, resolving the crime
is a matter of perspective. If I were to follow the footsteps of previous investigators and
researchers, I would likely end up with the same results….which is not my goal, nor
should it be, as there is no need for me to accomplish what they already have.
In part I, it was determined that between 1:00pm and 1:03pm, Lee Harvey Oswald
was present at his rooming house. Prior to 1:00pm relates to JFK’s assassination, events
after 1:03 are related more to Tippit’s murder. So this point in time, is somewhat the
dividing line between the two…with one minor exception.
If Lee Harvey Oswald didn’t shoot Officer Tippit in the manner popularized by the
Warren Commission, we have to ask “Who did”. We have to start from ground zero.
Between 1:00 and 1:03pm, LHO was at his rooming house. At 1:00, Officer Tippit was
at the Top Ten Record store(1). These two positions are on the map, (shown below).
If Oswald originally intended to go to the Theatre, he could easily catch the bus, which is pretty much a straight line down to the Texas Theatre. Earlene Roberts testified she saw Oswald standing at the
bus stop. Soooo….it’s not a stretch
of the imagination to think that Lee did actually take the bus. For those of you who think Oswald was on foot, I have a challenge to
offer. Please show me the witness
testimonies stating that anyone
saw Oswald walking down Beckley Avenue, to the Tippit murder scene or to the Texas Theatre. You won’t be able to….because he didn’t. Remember I said show me witnesses
who saw Oswald walking down “Beckley Avenue”, not any place else. Imagination does
not count as evidence, and it is evidence that we should be looking for. Yes, I know some witnesses identified Oswald “at the scene”….we’ll get to that, but let’s not put the cart before the horse.
J.D. Tippit was parked at the Gloco station on the Houston street viaduct, near N. Zangs Blvd and N. Marsalis at 12:45(2). At 12:45pm the first reports giving a description of JFK’s assassin
went out over the police radio by DPD dispatchers(3). It is important to point out that no one identified Oswald by name over the radio, “prior” to Tippit’s murder. So, for anyone to say Tippit or anyone else was hunting Oswald before 1:15pm (by name), is in fact false. Oswald had not been identified by name until his arrest at the theatre.
Next action, between 12:45 and 12:54, witnesses saw J.D. Tippit go “tearing off”
down Lancaster in his vehicle(4)(5). DPD dispatchers asked Officer Tippit his location at 12:54, Tippit responded by saying he was at “8th and Lancaster”. According to Harry
N. Olsen, he was off duty that day guarding an “estate” on 8th street (near 8th and Lancaster), roughly four blocks from his girlfriends house. His girl friend and future wife was Kathy Helen Coleman, who lived north of 8th street at 325 N. Ewing. Kathy was one of Jack Ruby’s exotic dancers at the Carousel Club. Harry Olsen’s knee cap was injured when his friend Jack Ruby ran into him by accident, (ice skating)(6). This injury
occurred several weeks prior to Tippit’s murder, (*note, it generally only takes 8 weeks for most injuries to heal). Jack Ruby, Kathy Coleman and Harry N. Olsen had been friends for quite awhile before Tippits murder(7).
Next action, Tippit arrives at the Top Ten Record store at approximately 1:00pm and requests to use the phone. He’s rushed, he dials the number and gets no answer(8). Let me point out that “A”, you don’t dial a strangers phone number from memory, as we don’t tend to commit strangers phone numbers to memory. It’s a safe bet that Tippit knew
exactly who he was calling, or trying to call…but no one answered. It’s not unusual for Policeman or Firefighters to use a “land line” (telephone). Phones are more secure then radio transmissions, and also if you don’t want the information going out to everyone in the department, we would use a telephone. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he were tying to call into the DPD dispatchers.
Getting no answer on the telephone….Tippit leaves the Record store in a hurry. At approximately 1:03….Tippit missed a radio call from his dispatcher. Right about this time, Tippit had cut off James A. Andrews car by pulling in front of it and jumping out to search Andrews vehicle….all without saying a word(9). Everyone to date seems to be mystified by this behavior by Tippit. Tippit pulled James A. Andrews over on W. 10th Street….what is significant about that? James Andrews worked at American National
Life Insurance company on W. 10th Street…where Roscoe White also worked.(10) Could Tippit have been hunting for Roscoe White? Hmmm….. maybe we should think on that. Tippit pulling over Andrews was no coincidence, Tippit was hunting on 10th Street, both
East and West! What did he know that was related to 10th street…and how did it connect to Roscoe White? Tippit didn’t find Roscoe White in Andrews vehicle and Andrews claims Tippit didn’t say a word, but I don’t really buy that Tippit and Andrews didn’t talk.
In any case, Tippit traveled east from the point where he stopped Andrews, driving slowly, hunting, alert. He had been looking for somebody (Roscoe) in Andrews car and not finding them he was still looking, driving slowly east on 10th Street, (see below).
Now, in Part I of this story, it was already demonstrated that Lee Harvey Oswald could not have possibly walked to the Tippit murder scene in time to shoot Tippit, no way, no how….didn’t happen. On the other hand, we know that somebody did walk to the
Tippit murder scene and did shoot Tippit…because witnesses saw this individual do just that. The very first place that witnesses stated they saw the shooter walking, was at the intersection of 10th and Marsalis, (see map above, blue circle). Coincidentally, 10th and Marsalis is roughly four blocks from Kathy Coleman’s apartment. This was about the distance that Olsen claimed to be working from Kathy’s apartment, (although Olsen claimed he was working on 8th street). At the same time, Olsen…being the professional policeman…. could not remember the address of this supposed “estate” he was guarding Nor could Olsen remember who was paying him, or the name of the fellow police
patrolman who hired him for the job. He couldn’t remember the name of the person who owned the property or what time he left the property. Olsen was also on foot that day…as
he left his car with Kathy Coleman….Olsen…buddy of Jack Ruby. Olsen…who was a hostile witness and who claimed he could remember next to nothing. Olsen who after giving testimony to the Warren Commission requested a large part of the testimony be deleted(11). Harry Olsen….who was told by Chief Curry to leave the department but
Harry refused to give all the reasons for that request. Yes, somebody was in the
neighborhood that day, on foot, with no legitimate alibi…and his name is Harry Neal Olsen, of the Dallas PD, (see images below).
Some of Harry Olsen’s testimony are still sealed to this day, reason’s unknown. Harry
Olsen was very near to the area where witnesses first began to see the Tippit shooter walking west down 10th street, beginning at “E. 10th and Lancaster” (which just happens to be four blocks from Kathy Coleman’s, the distance Harry said he was working from her apartment). Several witnesses saw this individual walking down the street and then shoot J.D. Tippit. These witnesses included, Mr. Clark @ the barber shop at 610 E. 10th
Street, William L. Smith, Dick Loomis, Jimmy Burt, William A. Smith, and Frank Wright, all of which gave testimonies related to the shooter walking West down 10th
Street, arriving just in time to shoot Tippit (see pages at the end of this story). Of course this also included Domingo Benavides, Helen Markham and others. The shooter was essentially in constant visual contact by witness from 10th and Lancaster all the way to
the murder scene. Oswald could not have gotten there, as this would be an even farther distance then going to the murder scene from his rooming house. Oswald could NOT get
there, not by walking, not by running, no way, no how. Harry Olsen on the other hand could have…and very easily. So at this point, let’s take a moment and review a few noted facts on Tippit’s murder. First….every cop knows that the best witness is a dead witness, and many will be the first to tell you that. Tippit’s killer took extra care to be sure to go back and shoot him in the head….just for insurance. A bad cop would know to do that. Second, witnesses testified that it looked as if the shooter and Tippit knew each other. Tippit and Olsen knew each other….cop to cop…locker room stuff. Third, the five live rounds found in LHO’s pocket are identical to those used by Police departments(12).
Fourth, several times the Tippit shooter was described as slightly heavy-stocky and with
dark bushy hair, 5’10”…which is a far closer match to Harry Olsen….not Lee Harvey Oswald. Fifth….one of Tippit’s co-workers described him as not being “too bright”.
Tippit’s shooter says “poor dumb cop or poor damn cop”….poor dumb cop….familiarity, that Olsen would have had. Sixth, the shooter walked casually away from the scene, and went over to reload his pistol…in front of all the witnesses….he didn’t run away like most
criminals would have. A person with his knee still healing might not want to run. A cop
planting shells, knowing Oswald was being set up would take their time to let witnesses see him dump the shells. But there is other….lesser known evidence we need to look at, such as the second Dallas police car in the drive way moving slowly towards Tippit’s patrol car(13).
Yes, you read correctly, a second Dallas police vehicle in the driveway but back near the alley. The very driveway which Tippit’s vehicle was blocking. If you don’t know, Tippit
went a little past the driveway….then suddenly backed up in a hurry!! Yes, to block the driveway…. in the process a lady behind him bumped his patrol car. I’d feel comfortable
assuming that Tippit spotted the patrol car….which he knew shouldn’t have been in the
area…and very likely was Officer Mentzel and also likely, Roscoe White. These two
officers are likely the same two policeman in the car that honked in front of Oswald’s
rooming house. But what is really telling…..is that the officer who walked out into the street to look at Tippit…made no effort to help him, made no effort to call in the murder
to the DPD dispatchers, but fled the scene!! I strongly suspect that in the process of fleeing, this officer probably also picked up Harry Olsen. Now….you could argue that some of the witnesses identified Oswald….and I could argue that far more people have misidentified Oswald than ever correctly identified him. I could also go down the list and demonstrate all the witnesses who first said it wasn’t Oswald and then later changed their testimonies. I could bring up people that were threatened by DPD offices to keep quiet who changed their stories or just went along with whatever they were told to say.
Or I could point out that William Whaley (Oswald’s cab driver) signed his affidavit
stating Oswald was the guilty party…. BEFORE he even went into the line-ups, and that he then picked someone else in the line-up besides Oswald as the person he gave a ride to. That not only did Harry Olsen’s girlfriend Kathy Kay work for Jack Ruby, so did Roscoe White’s wife Geneva. I could go on and on and on about pointing these things out….but this is old news.
Oswald wasn’t at the scene and he didn’t have the opportunity to shoot Officer Tippit, some police officers did though. This wasn’t a coincidence, these people were all converging on the same area, for a reason. The shooter, Tippit, the second police car…all heading to the same spot….all cops….good cops, bad cops…. dead cop, conspiracy. I could very easily
write an entire book on this subject, probably two or three, but I’m going to leave you with these thoughts and new insights.
In 51 years, no committee, not the Warren Commission, Church Commission, the Rockefeller Commission nor any law agency….the DPD, FBI, CIA…not one of them ever got the time line of the Tippit murder right. The one person mentioned recently who
got it right was Helen Markham, the person closest to the murder, besides the killer himself. The CLOSEST person to the murder, besides the killer. How is it then, that Harry Neal Olsen and Kathy Helen Coleman, who needed an alibi, who couldn’t remember next to nothing the entire day, just knew for certain that they had to have had their lunch between 1:00 and 1:15pm? How did they know exactly what time to be sure and cover (the precise time of the murder) and alibi themselves accordingly? Hmmm?
With that….I’m going to bid you all good night, as it’s now 4am and I’m getting a little
sleepy, LOL. The story doesn’t end here, the doors are just beginning to open. There was
a reason these police officers converged in this area. Those reasons involve the Abundant Life Church, Alpha 66, Collins Radio, corruption in the DPD and corruption that reaches all the way to the Warren Commission itself. Those stories will be coming
soon…but not tonight. The truth is coming like an ocean wave.

Would appreciate it if you’d stop referring to McAdams disinformation site and point more to Joe McBride’s findings

Why is it, I have never heard this version of the Tippet murder before ?

Probably in large part because the DPD has suppressed evidence, some of those involved lied….and it’s only just been written. It is only through earlier researchers that information slowly evolves….and continues to evolve even now. You have previously only heard fragments of the complete story. Just as I haven’t seen the videos posted above before.
